Crazy Christmas...2012

So Mommy forgets to blog a lot and doesn't always get all the pictures up as fast as she should, but I will tell you about our Christmas anyway.  Nya and I thought it was pretty cool to use laundry baskets as boats and fill them up with blankets for movie time.  They were really fun...until we weren't comfortable and we capsized.
When Ellie and Landon came to visit we got to paint ornaments and that was really fun too.  We all had fun painting, but Nya had the most.  Except she painted evertying pink and pink is my favorite color.  Mommy says I don't own pink and can't monopolize it...whatever that means.
I got really into the painting and made some super cool ornaments.  It was fun just to get together and do something a little different.  We can't wait until Ellie and Landon come back and we can get together and go sledding.  That was really fun last year.
Malachi painted his ornaments so well.  He liked doing it, but it made me sad becuase mine didn't look as nice as his did. Bummer.
One day when we were watching Jada, Mommy let us help make rolo cookies.  They are super yummy and really fun to make, but we kept getting in trouble for eating the rolos instead of putting them inside the cookies.  I hope no one gets an empty cookie.
Jada is a little munchkin and played on the floor while we made the cookies.  She kept eating this string and Nya and I both tried to give her some Rolo, but Mommy said she didn't think Aunti Lacey would appreciate that.  I don't know why I think she likes it when we share with Jada.
Finally Christmas came and we got to open presents.  It was awesome!!  Nya seems really excited in this picture.  You can't see here, but she got a really cute sweaterdress from my mom and dad.  I don't know if she was that excited once she opened it, but we looked really cute wearing them.  I got a matching one.
Malachi got some cool clothes too, and a Ninendo DS, Madden 2013, and some other boy stuff.  I'm so glad that I am a girl and got to fill up on fun things like princess stuff and dolls.
Nya and I each got a backpack with jammies and a movie.  I guess Mom is trying to tell us that she wants to have a family movie night really soon.
Nya loves her purple Christmas dress and danced around in it the whole day.  It was really cute.
I had a really pretty dress on too, but you can't really tell here.  I was more excited about showing off my monster doll than my dress.  Mommy said I can play with her, but I can't dress like her.
Then we got a new PUPPY!!  She is really cute and sweet. Nya and I named her Purple Cinderella, but Daddy thought it might be embarassing yelling that when he takes her out hunting.  After a lot of debate and input from everyone we decided as a family to name her Adi.  She sleeps a lot...and pees on the floor a lot (Mommy doesn't really like that)... and chases us a lot too.  Then she goes to sleep and starts all over again.  Silly Puppy!
I don't know why this picture is sideways but I am singing my favorite Taylor Swift song, "we are never ever getting back together."  Grandma got me a CD player that I can sing with and Nya and I have had a great time siging and playing music.  I might want to change my mind andbe Taylor Swift when I grow up instead of a teacher. Sorry Mommy.  I will still drink coffe though.
Here we are right after Purple Cinerella...I mean Adi got to our house.
She really likes Malachi.  She tries to give him kisses all the time.  It is cute, but I sure hope she didn't just lick her butt;)

A Recap of 2012...

This year has been a crazy one.  Malachi, Nya, and I have been up to all sorts of shenanigans...like we always are!  Here is a quick recap of what the Davis family has been up to this year.
January and February were pretty slow.
March we got to be cousins again when Auntie Lacey had a baby.  Jada Marie Doll became an awesome part of our family and we love her so much.  I'm not sure she likes Nya though, since she always squeels when she sees her.  Oh well, maybe she will learn to lover her like I do.  Don't worry Jada, I wasn't sure about Nya either;)
We make a pretty cute little bunch if I do say so myself.
April was sort of boring, but my Birthday was in May.  Just like Malachi's, Auntie Sheri's, Uncle Dana's, and a whole bunch of our friends.  I got to have a Pink Party and we did all sorts of fun pink stuff.  I love to have Birthdays!  Malachi had fun on his birthday too, but I don't think as much fun as me.  He was more excited to be getting to start summer vacation than celebrate his birthday.  Mom on the other had was looking forward to a quick vacation before she started school again.  I don't know why she thinks she needs to keep going to school.  She seems to know everything already;)
In June we got to spend a whole week (almost) with Grandma and Grandpa Doll while Mommy and Daddy were whooping it up in Vegas.  I wonder what whooping it up means?  Oh well, it seems like they were in much better moods when they got back.
Mommy was busy most of the summer with school, but we did manage to get to the pol, river, and park a lot too.  We even got to take a fun vacation to the Cities and stay in a cool cabin on the lake.  That part was really fun!  Nya even found herself a pet worm and named him cheeto.  What a silly girl.  Sometimes I just don't know about her!
In August Mommy graduated with a Masters Degree in secondary admistration...whatever that means.  She still wants to teach so that it good.  When I grow up I want to teach and drink coffee just like her!
Her and Malachi started school in the fall and things have been crazy since then!  Malachi played tackle football and it looked like it hurt.  I think he is going to play again next year, but he really wants to be on the Packers not the Giants again.  Sorry Eli!
Now Malachi is doing Karate 2 times a week and that is really fun too!  He is pretty good and already has an orange belt, now he is working for a green one.  I sure hope he gets it.  Nya and I started gymnastics this winter and have been going to that once a week.  We are both really good, but still have to stay in oursame levels.  Mommy says I don't listen well enough to be in a higher level, but I think she just likes that Nya and I can go at the same time right now.
NOW HOW ABOUT OUR CHRISTMAS...

Trick or treat.... and other Fall stuff.

We went to the pumkin patch a couple of times this year, but we had so much fun when we all went together and played in all of the hay.  Nya and Mommy were content to sit for a minute in the hay, but not me.  I wanted to play play play.  I think I had hay in places that I never even knew that I had.
Malachi and Daddy took a rest on some hay after running after Nya and I for the whole afternoon.
We carved our pumkins a few days before halloween and it was so fun.  Mommy was all excited because this year was the first year that both Nya and I were willing to stick our hands into the pumpkins to pull the guts out.  Nya wasn't so sure about it right away, but she seemed to get used to he idea once we all got going on it.  They turnedout pretty good!

Malachi's isnt' in this picture because he was making a really fancy pumpkin and it wasn't finished by the time we had to go to bed.  So Mommy made him stop and take a picture with us before it was time for us to call it quits for the night.
Nya and I dressed up as Fairies for Halloween.  I was silvermist and Nya was tinkerbell. Mommy even made my hair black like silvermists so that I would look just like her.  I know the Pixie Hollow Fairies don't have painted faces, but painting our faces was so much fun that we just couldn't help ourselves.  Maybe if Mommy would let us wear makeup when we wanted too, we wouldn't be so excited about Halloween makeup.

Malachi went as scream and that was pretty scary.  I took us a little getting used to.  Especially for me.  I Don't like scary faces and Malachi likes to scare me.  I am excited for him to finally put that mask away and quit scaring me with it.   When we got home after trick or treating we al went through out candy and ate a few pieces, then Nya and I took a bath and then we have to go to bed.  It was a great day and a really fun Fall.   Now we can start looking forward to Turkey's and Thanksgiving:)

Long time...no blogging:(

Holy Cow...it has been a really long time.  We have been so busy getting ready for the end of the school year and celebrating birthdays for everyone under the sun.  Since we last talked we had a nice visit from Brad's uncle from Dallas.  He works for the Mavs and we are die hard fans.  We even got to try on the championship ring.  Amazing!!!

Malachi was especially excited about the visit and the ring.  He is starting to gather a whole collection of Mavs stuff.
I turned three this month.  I have been talking about it for a long time already and was so excited when my birthday finally got here.  I woke up on my birthday morning to find a brand new kitchen set in the living room.  It is awesome and I am a great cook!!
Our new baby cousin Jada got to come and visit us a little bit and I even held her.  Baby's are so cute, but they sure cry a lot.
Nya really liked to hold Jada, that is all she wanted to do the whole time Lacey and here were here.  Look how excited she is about getting to hold her "all by herself""
We all made crowns and played outside for my party.  I got to have all of my friends over to my house for cake and play time.  Nya stayed on the swing set for a long time, but that is ok because she is little.
My party was pinkalicious but my cake was strawberry shortcake.  I guess mommy had too many things to do she didn't have time to make a cake from scratch.  I think she will have to practice so she can make one for Nya's birthday in July.
The next day Grandma and Grandpa Davis came over and even Grape Grandma got to visit.  We had a picnic and opened presents.  Malachi got a new kinect game he really wanted.
Nya got to play in Jada's baby seat...
Then we had a water fight with Malachi's new squirt guns.  I decided that I like water fights more when I am doing the squirting.

Apparently Nya liked doing the squirting too!!!

Happy Easter!!

Malachi holding his new baby cousin Jada at Grandma and Grandpa Doll's house in  Flasher.  She is so tiny!!

Nya and Grandpa were having fun playing together on Grandpa's Ipad.  What a fun toy to play with!!  Grandpa and Nya love to snuggle.
After seeing how much fun Nya was having, I decided to join in the fun.  Since I can't sit still....the fun didn't last too long for me.
Silly Grandma was harrassing Malachi while he was trying to die the Easter eggs.  If you ask me, I think he like it:)
Cousin Morgan had fun helping me die eggs, she is such a good artist and we had really pretty eggs.
Nya and Auntie Lacey had fun cuddling and playing ball.  I am so glad Auntie Lacey still wants to play with us now that she has her own baby to cuddle.  We were a little worried.
Chelsea helped Nya die some eggs too, but Nya didn't like it as much and me and only died a couple of eggs.  Her's tasted pretty good too:)
Even Daddy couldn't resist joining in the fun!!  He is really just a big kid at heart!!
Mommy was complaining that she is always taking pictures and never in them, so she snatched me up and made Daddy take a shot of us.
At Grandma Davis' house we got to look for Easter baskets too.  It was really fun finding them and all the eggs the Easter bunny dropped outside for us.
Nya kept trying to play in her Easter pail, and she finally just fell in.  She is suck a funny little girl.
Malachi had fun too.  It took him a really long time to find his basket becuase Grandma Davis hid it in the dishwasher!!
