Ava turns 2!!

Finally, I am 2!! I have been waiting for every for this day, I feel so grown up now...

My day started when I woke up to find that my room was filled with full of balloons. Mommy must have heard me talking about them because she came in a few minutes after I woke up and usually she makes me lay back down and try to sleep a little longer on the weekends. It was really cool. I ran through them, kicked them, and tried to jump on them. What a fun suprise.
After playing in the balloons all morning I needed to lay down and take a little rest to collect my thoughts.

But it didn't take long for me to get back onto full playing mode. Here mommy...catch!!

Before my party mommy took some pictures of Malachi. Isnt he handsome?

Nya looks pretty cute too...

but she sure gets into trouble. She was climbing all over me and my presents all day. It was exciting when she took her firsts steps at my party though. Mommy was holding her and put her down to pick me up, and Nya must not have wanted to be put down because she walked back over to mommy (4 steps). Mommy was so excited that she put me down and picked Nya up again.

After all that excitement, I was thirsty and mommy poured me a glass of "tinkerpop" in honor of the tinkerbell celebration. It was yummy:)

Before I opened all my presents mommy tried to make me pose for a few pictures, but I am really fast and was really excited so I didn't sit very good...or very long for mommy.

After having to wait and get my picture taken for so long I decided to start posing. I chose my "mad face" first to show that I was serious about opening my presents.

It didn't work, so I decided to go with plan b...my suprised face. Can we say home alone?

Finally:)

I was really getting into the presents, I think I could get used to birthdays.

While I was opening my presents....and not smiling for mommy, she decided to try to get a cute picture of Nya who was stealing uncle Tyler's hat. I guess Nya is more cooperative than me...oh well. At least mommy gets a cute picture of one of her girls actually looking at the camera. Good job Nya.

Daddy was tired from all of the action so I decided to put him down for a little nap. Sleep well daddy!

Check out my new scooter. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Doll. It was really fun when I got to take if for a walk with Mommy and Daddy. Daddy pushed me for a while and then him and Mommy had to switch. They pushed me the whole way. Scooters are so much fun. I don't know why Mommy was complaining that it is so much work, I thought it was easy. I think Mommy is a big "W".

And then we had cake!!! Don't worry I didn't spit on it.

But I did take a giant bite right out of the middle of it. Chocolate and vanilla swirl...yum!!

Now all that is left is to wash my face and put me to bed. Good luck with that. After all the tinkerpop, frosting, and cake (and the may day basket full of candy)...putting me to bed is not going to be an easy task.

Thanks for a great day!!
