Visiting Santa

Last weekend we went to Fargo to visit our new little niece Avery. It was really fun to meet her and see Sheri, Dana, Ellie, and Landon too.

While we were there Santa was in town, so we got to go visit him!! It was so exciting!! We took a hay ride and got to pet the horses. Nya loves animals so much it was hard to pull her away from them.
Then we got to see Santa's reindeer. They were so cute and funny. We could have watched them all day long. We couldn't feed them though. Since reindeer are on a special diet from now until Christmas.

We even got to meet the real Santa Clause. He was so nice! Nya was a little scared of him though and wouldn't sit on his lap.

I got to meet Santa's Elf Star. She was nice. I wonder what it is like living at the North Pole with Santa.

Mrs. Clause helped us make sugar cookies and decorate them. Nya didn't like that much either, but me and Malachi did! And the cookies were so good.

I told Santa that I wanted him to bring me a Barbie doll.

Malachi thinks he is too cool for Santa, but he joined in the tradition and asked him for a Helicopter.

Then we got to watch the North Pole express cruise through the North Pole village. Nya and I could have watched that train all day, but even we didn't like it as much as Landon did.

See, I told you Nya didn't really like Santa.

She really liked the train though!!
