My mommy and daddy took me and Malachi and Nya to Rapid City for a vacation. I think that I like vacations!! First, becuase we were so tired from traveling we went to Storybook Island where we got to climb in all of the fairytale creatures and run around. 
Nya and I got to be fairytale princesses and Malachi was our handsome prince.
We stayed at a hotel with a waterpark, but we needed to take a break from swimming to go to reptile gardens, the bugs were gross, but the reptiles were cool...when they were behind the glass.
See the birdy behind Nya's head. Daddy scared Mommy when he told her that a snake was on the tree above her head. It was funny to hear her freak out.
We even got to see the really big turtle. It was slow but really neat.
At bear country we drove around and got to see all of the animals. I got to drive on Daddy's lap while Mom held Nya. Malachi wanted to get in on the action up front so he took my seat. He also hogged all of the trail mix while we were watching the animals.
Nya thought that it was fun to watch the bears. They were everywhere!! One was even trying to eat some roadkill off the car in front of us.
We thought that Babyland was neat. Baby bears are so cute, but not as cute as baby Davis'.
Daddy didn't even seem that big after standing next to the bear. I never knew that bears got so big.
Mommy and Malachi still look small too.
Someone put a Zombie baby on the roof of their car. I'm so glad that it is stuck up there becuase I was afraid of it:(
It was really hot when we went to the crooked house and both Daddy and Mommy had a hard time trying to keep Nya and I from falling on our faces. We never fell, but mom and dad were sure tired out after all of that climbing.
Malachi was asked to be a participant in an experiment at the crooked house and he sat on a chair that was suspended on a ledge. He did such a good job!
At our cabin in Hill City we didn't have a table (we had a picnic table) so when it was raining we had to eat on the coolers and the floor! Nya and I both thought it was really cool. It is fun to run around when you are supposed to be sitting nice and eating breakfast. Even Nya, had trouble focusing on her food.
At Mt. Rushmore, Malachi found the ND flag and we thought it would be cool to get a picture of him by it.
Malachi and I really liked the view at Mt. Rushmore. It was fun.
Even Nya thought the view was cool, look at how she watched the mountains.
I thought it might be fun to try and pick Jefferson's nose on camara, but we couldn't get it quite right. Oh well, since he is a rock...I doubt he has many boogers!
On needles Hwy we got to stop and climb in the rocks. Mommy stayed in the car with Nya and I for some of it, becuase it was too dangerous for us, but since Malachi and Daddy are big...they got to climb on the big rocks.
Mommy forgot to turn this picture, but it is me jumping into the pool by myself!! I bet I jumped in 100 times! At first Mommy had to catch me, then Daddy had to catch me, then I decided that I could do it myself. Mommy and Daddy tried to catch me anyway.
I was so proud of myself for being such a good jumper!!
In Deadwood we found a little shop that had all of these really cool sunglasses to play with. Mommy wasn't supposed to take picutres, but...

Here are a few pictures from storybook island. We had such a good time on this little vacation. I love spending time together with my family, even though we didn't get enough sleep and Mommy and Daddy were getting a little tired...It was great!!!

Watching the kids run and play and swim and laguh and talk (Ava talked the whole time) was great!!
