At 1:40 AM on July 14th, mommy woke up in the middle of the night. She thought it was because of the storm outside, or because daddy had the radar on the TV playing but, it was something totally different! She was starting to have my new baby sister!!
Grandma Davis came to our house at 3:30 AM to watch Malachi and me while mommy and daddy went to the hospital to have the baby. Here is mommy wating for things to get going.
I guess when they got going, they really got going, because my baby sister Nya was born at 6:11 AM after only 5 hours of labor. Good job litttle Nya!!
When Nya was born she weighed 6lbs 11oz and was 20 inches long. She had the cutest little pout (mommy and daddy thought she pouted just like me). She was healthy with ten fingers and toes, and both mommy and daddy thought she was absolutely perfect. I am reserving my judgement until after I get to play with her a little.
Daddy was proud to finally meet her, but he was still a little sleepy from having to wake up at 2:30 AM and bring mommy to the hospital. I think mommy was a little tired too!!
