We had a really fun fourth of July weekend, but it was really busy. Mommy needed all of Monday just to catch up from the weekend. Daddy went camping on Thursday and Friday with his friends, and Malachi, Mommy, and Me met them on Friday and tried to stay in the tent. This was a really bad idea, I think because of me, they are off camping until the new baby is at least 2 years old. Buy who knows, maybe mommy will forget that I only let her get about 3 hours of sleep:)
Saturday we all took long naps, and went to art in the park. Daddy and mommy worked a little on the new baby's room (her room is purple) and then they painted my new room (mine is pink)!
On Sunday we went to the parade with both sets of grandparents... that was really fun!! Then we got to cook a picnic at our house and have everyone over for supper. Mommy had the pool set up for the kids to play, but I fell in twice and had to get new clothes on both times. Everyone laughed at me!
Daddy held me up in the pickup for some of the parade so that I would get a really good view, as you can tell...I was more concerned with just walking around!
Malachi and Ellie chased after all of the candy that was thrown, and Malachi got a whole bad full. I got to eat a little of it. I know that if I want sweets I just have to go sit with my Grandma Doll. She is a big softy when it comes to sugar!
Here I am trying my very first sucker. Thanks Grandma!
While we were waiting for the parade to get started we all just hung out and had fun runny around and playing musical chairs with all of the little kid chairs. Guess Malachi had to sit out for this round:(
At Grandma Davis' house we got a few cute pictures of Malachi and I playing on the steps. Don't we look cute in our Fourth of July clothes?
I hope everyone had a good weekend. I will let you all know when my baby sister gets here. I am so excited to meet her. I keep touching mommy's tummy and saying baby, but I am still not sure what to expect. I think that mommy and daddy are trying to get me ready for her, because I got to move into my new room last night, and mommy keeps calling me a big girl! I like being a big girl!!
